and it's finally DONE!(:
actually I've submitted it on 23rd March 2008
but I've yet to find the time due to my hectic schedule recently
with my Mock exams just over i can finally take a breather
*phew*
this artwork was submitted for the British Council Art competition
titling : climate cool in the urban jungle
the purpose of the artwork is to alert the community of Global Warming
i know you guys must have heard bout this to the extend that you aer practically bored with it however it's really a big woo ha
can you imagine living in Singapore with bad weather conditions all year round?
that would mean lesser shopping! and no more trips to the zoo or the park
which is definitely bad news
of course it would be good news to those couch potatoes out there
*shame on you*
but we should really be aware of how we are harming our environment and start taking preventive measures such as:
- the 3Rs ;reduce reuse recycle
- bring your own bags when shopping for grocery
- ask for paper bags if they have an alternative eg: IKEA
- so on and so forth
ok enough with all the preaching
give me some comments on the artwork(:
oh yeah and one of my artworks have been selected to be featured in the IN section of The Straits Times newspaper keep a look out for it(:
